Horizon Ag to Host 2026 Louisiana Field Day at Richard Farms in Kaplan on June 23

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Horizon Ag will hold its 2026 Louisiana Field Day on June 23 at Richard Farms, 5632 Louisiana Highway 700, Kaplan, LA 70548. Registration opens at 5:30 p.m. The event runs through 8:00 p.m. and includes presentations from Horizon Ag, USA Rice and the LSU AgCenter, followed by dinner.

The field day will include the latest variety performance data on a new Clearfield^® rice variety, CLL20. Trial data shows CLL20 mills well and has an excellent packaged rice appearance, both increasingly important factors as U.S. rice competes for market position in the Western Hemisphere.

“Milling quality is what gets rice sold. Growers who consistently hit whole milling targets have more protection when markets get tight," said Dr. Tim Walker, CEO of Horizon Ag. "The data on CLL20 speaks for itself.”

Attendees will also hear updates on the Provisia^® Rice System variety pipeline, including performance data on PVL05 and PVL06, both introduced in 2026.
