Provisia (R) Rice System

The Provisia® Rice System with variety PVL03 has consistently proven it was the best, most reliable ACCase-inhibitor herbicide system available, providing farmers with the valuable combination of high yields, impressive milling quality, blast resistance, excellent herbicide tolerance and unmatched control of weedy rice and resistant grasses.

In 2024, PVL04, the first Provisia variety developed by University of Arkansas rice breeders, joins the Horizon Ag lineup, giving rice farmers another top-performing option to control costly weedy rice and resistant red rice.
