CLHA02

THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR MARKETS REQUIRING HIGH-AMYLOSE RICE

An elite, high-amylose Clearfield® variety, new CLHA02 offers outstanding yield potential plus the superior quality that can result in premiums and opportunities for identity preservation contracts. CLHA02 is like CL163 in terms of having high amylose content but like Cheniere in terms of having "softer-cooking" quality. It has been among the top five entries for yield in multi-year, on-farm evaluations by Mississippi State University.

AT A GLANCE

  • Second high-amylose, long-grain Clearfield release

  • 0 Seeding rate is a suggestion based on drill-seeding in ideal conditions and fungicide/insecticide treated seed. Planting non-treated seed is not recommended. Seeding rate should be increased by a minimum of 10 lbs/A when using non-treated seed, planting into a rough seedbed, water-seeding, high pH soils and soils with salinity issues.
  • 1 Nitrogen rate is a suggested rate based on a two-way split nitrogen application with the first application being applied on dry soil.
