For the last few years, multiple areas throughout the South, but especially south Louisiana, south Arkansas, and northeast Arkansas, have been in a crisis mode dealing with ALS-resistant weedy rice and grasses. The Provisia® Rice System was developed to address this crisis as well as to extend the life of Clearfield rice.The Provisia® Rice System is the ideal companion system to the Clearfield® Production System for rice, providing farmers with another effective tool to manage weedy rice, including rice volunteers that are resistant to herbicides like Newpath® herbicide and Beyond® herbicide, red rice and also multi-herbicide-resistant grasses.
